Pegs screwed firmly into a wooden base with the scoring marked around them, so the game keeps its own score without anybody holding a card. The whole thing is 2.6 lb. It assembles by hand with no tools at all and goes back into a 600D oxford bag afterwards. Fifteen rings go out with it — five rope, five red plastic and five blue — which is enough for three players to hold a set each rather than passing one along.

Family days
The throwing line is wherever you put it. Six feet for the youngest guests, fifteen or more for adults — the same board suits both without anybody being given an easier game.
Trade-show stands with no floor to spare
The base takes under two square feet, which fits in the corner of a booth beside a counter. Nothing else in this category goes into a space that small.
Indoor lobbies
It plays on carpet or a hard floor exactly as well as on grass. Bring it when there is no lawn at all rather than as a compromise for one.
Booth games with a prize
Scoring is printed on the base, so a score can earn something without a scorekeeper. Two stages to the interaction is usually better than one at an activation.
Community events
Light enough to carry between pitches during the day if the crowd moves. At 2.6 lb it is the one item here that relocates without planning to relocate it.
Patio receptions
A game people play standing with a drink in the other hand. It needs no run-up, no lane and no clearance overhead, which is what a crowded terrace has none of.

Ring toss produces a number. A prize wheel turns that number into something a guest walks away with. Its face is dry-erase across 18 slots, so the prize list is written for your event rather than printed in a factory. On a booth counter the two take one table between them.
