Cambridge has invested heavily in event space over the last few years and it shows: a flagship venue on the Grand River, converted industrial rooms, conventional banquet halls along Hespeler Road. The result is a market where the venue often looks finished and still needs the whole interior brought in.
Equipment we bring into Cambridge
The interior, mostly. Banquet tables, folding chairs, cocktail tables are what turns a handsome empty room into a room with an event in it. Under them go dance floors, stage decks and interlocking floor tile where a converted floor needs covering. Belt and rope stanchions, barricades and carpet runners handle the arrival and pipe and drape hides what should not be seen. Party tents, canopies, lighting, sign stands, games and photo activations cover the rest.
Where events happen in Cambridge
Tapestry Hall on Grand Avenue South is the flagship, with several distinct spaces under one roof. Storehouse 408 on Queen Street West is a converted warehouse that runs intimate events with good accessibility. The Gardens Event Centre on Hespeler Road splits into three zones. The Venue on Hespeler Road handles corporate functions around a hundred guests. Fireside Haven on Guelph Avenue takes small events and expos — with no kitchen, so catering logistics change.
The room as it is, not as it is drawn
Converted industrial rooms usually mean generous floor space and awkward access — freight doors, ramps, columns in the wrong place. We plan the layout against the actual room rather than a floor plan drawn to scale. Delivery, installation and collection are all ours.
