North Vancouver
Event Rentals in North Vancouver
The Shipyards district turned North Vancouver into one of the best event locations in Metro Vancouver — big industrial rooms with nothing in them, right on the water, looking back at the downtown skyline. A completely blank venue is a gift and a warning at the same time: everything inside it is yours to bring.
Equipment we bring into North Vancouver
A Shipyards room is mostly air, so the first things in are the ones that break the volume up: pipe and drape to give a huge floor edges, stage decks and risers to make an end of it, dance floors to fix the middle. After that it furnishes like anywhere else — banquet and cocktail tables, folding chairs. Belt and rope stanchions, barricades and carpet runners take the entrance and canopies and tents take the outdoor half. Lighting, sign stands, games and photo activations finish it.

Where events happen in North Vancouver
The Pipe Shop on Victory Ship Way is the large Shipyards room and takes major events, though parking there is limited enough to plan around. The Wallace on the same street pairs an indoor space with a private outdoor area facing downtown. The View on Lonsdale has a terrace and generous parking. LVSS at Mollie Nye House on Lynn Valley Road handles small gatherings and concerts in a heritage setting.
A layout before an item list
In a room with nothing in it, the item list is the last thing to write. First the volume has to be broken up — where the drape runs, what the floor is doing, which end the crowd faces — and the quantities fall out of that. Where parking is tight the delivery comes in stages rather than as one convoy.
Ordering for a North Vancouver event
Because filling an empty industrial room properly is a design problem as much as a rental order. We treat it that way.
Rental categories
Send the event dates, which products and in what quantity and the event address and a rough layout if you have one.
