Every one of these exists because a venue said no to a fixing. They stand on their own weight, they screen or absorb rather than support and they come away at the end leaving the wall as it was.
Three ways to divide a room
Which one the problem calls for.
The room divider answers a sightline. Three hinged panels to a unit, 102 inches wide by 71.3 high, powder-coated steel under a coated 240 g polyester that nothing shows through. Each panel rotates on its own triple-buckle hinge and units link end to end, so a long mask can be angled rather than left standing dead straight. It takes away what people can see. It is not soundproofing and this site does not claim that it is.
The acoustic privacy panel is the grey one, three panels of 23.8 by 65.8 inches zipping into a run about 72.4 inches long at 66 high. It takes noise as well as the sightline: the face is tackable, so pins go straight into it, while the zip joins let a run curve. It is the item here that also goes out on long-term rental to offices. Pipe and drape is the tall one: uprights adjusting from 5 to 10 ft, crossbars from 10 to 20 ft per span, weighted bases and black wrinkle-free polyester. Nothing in this group is fixed to the building — no drilling, no ceiling track.
