FAQ
Questions we get about event equipment rentals.
Ordering and payment
How do I request a quote?
Add what you need straight from the product pages — choose the quantity, click add and keep browsing. When you are done, open your request, tell us the event dates, the delivery address and anything else we should know — then send it. If you would rather just write to us, use the contact form at the bottom of any page. You will hear back from us the same day.
Why are there no prices on the website?
What a rental costs depends on a number of things: how long you need the equipment, how many items are in the order, where it is going and so on. Send us a request and we will come back with a quote put together specifically for you.
Is there a minimum order?
Our minimum order is $150.
Can I add items or change quantities after I book?
Yes. As long as we have it in stock, we can add it to your order. Let us know what changed and we will send you an updated quote.
Do you take a deposit and when is my equipment actually reserved?
We do not take deposits. Your equipment is reserved once the invoice is paid in full — until then those items stay available to other clients.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancel more than 48 hours before delivery and you get a full refund. Between 48 and 24 hours, we refund half. Under 24 hours, the rental is non-refundable.
What payment methods do you accept?
Credit card, direct deposit and Interac e-Transfer.
Can I see the equipment before I rent it?
We do not have a showroom, but you are welcome to come to our warehouse and look at the equipment in person. Arrange a time with us in advance so somebody is there to meet you.
Delivery and pickup
Can you deliver to a venue with no loading dock?
Yes. Stairs, small elevators, long carries from the parking — none of it is a problem, we just need to know about it beforehand. Tell us the floor, the access route and any restrictions when you request your quote and we will plan the delivery around them.
Can I pick up and return the equipment myself?
Yes — and there is no charge for it. Book your pickup and return times with us in advance and bring a vehicle that fits the order — tell us what you are renting and we will tell you how much space you need.
Do you deliver overnight, early in the morning or after hours?
Yes. Many venues only allow load-in outside business hours and we work with that. These time slots have to be arranged in advance, so mention the venue’s restrictions when you request your quote.
During the rental
Can I extend the rental once the event has started?
Yes. Before your rental period ends, tell us how much longer you need it. We send you an invoice for the extension, you pay it and you simply keep the equipment for that extra time.
What happens if something is damaged or lost?
Light scuffs and scratches are normal wear and we do not charge for them — equipment that goes to events gets used. If an item is lost or seriously damaged, we invoice for the repair or the replacement.
Are you insured and can you issue a certificate of insurance for my venue?
Yes. The insurance is commercial general liability. Tell us what your venue requires when you send the request and the certificate naming it goes out ahead of the date.
Do I need to clean linens or textiles before returning them?
No. Send everything back as it comes off the event — we launder all textiles after every rental.
What we do and what we do not do
Do you provide staff, such as bartenders, dealers or attendants?
Staffing is not our line of work. We rent equipment. If you need somebody to run what you are renting, we can sometimes arrange it through partner companies we trust, so it is worth asking — we will tell you straight away whether we can cover it.
Can you source items that are not on your website?
Yes. Tell us what the event needs and we will do everything we can to get it for you.
Do you print branded graphics such as step-and-repeat walls, banners or wraps?
We rent the hardware — the frames, stands and structures. The printed graphic is produced separately to your artwork and stays with you after the event. Your quote shows the rental and the print as two separate lines.
Do you rent equipment long term, for example office furniture for several months?
Yes. Long-term rentals are part of what we do, whether that is a few months or a full year. Tell us the dates and what you need and we will quote it.
Do you sell equipment as well as rent it?
Yes. Anything in our rental range we can also supply brand new for purchase — the same items, not ex-rental stock. Tell us what you need and how many and we will quote it.
