Two faces. The second one is a flip away.
The board pivots between its uprights, so the back becomes the front with one motion and a morning of work stays legible while the afternoon starts on a clean face. The surface is steel, which means it takes magnets as well as markers — an agenda held up beside what is being drawn. A full-length tray runs under the board, so pens sit where the writer is standing rather than at one end.

Workshops and offsites
The output of the morning has to survive lunch. Flipping the board rather than wiping it is the difference between keeping that and photographing it in a hurry.
Training rooms
A steel surface takes magnets, so handouts, printed steps or a seating plan can be held up beside whatever is being written rather than competing with it for space.
Breakout groups
It rolls. Two locking castors out of four is the right ratio for a board that has to move between corners during a session and then stay put once it is aimed at a group.
Registration and front of house
Where the message changes hour to hour and printing it would be wrong by the time it arrived. Nothing else in this category can be rewritten during the event.
Production and crew rooms
Call sheets, running orders and whatever changed at the last minute. At 94 lb it stays where it is put on a concrete floor rather than drifting when somebody leans on it.

What usually stands beside it
Not everything in the room is up for discussion.
