Specifications
It ships with both sets of legs, not one.
The short set gives a low build of roughly 8 to 10 inches — enough to lift a display or a backdrop clear of the floor without anybody needing a step. The standard set covers the higher range, for anything somebody has to step up onto. Rated capacity is 3,400 lb either way, the same as a deck sitting inside a much larger build.

Where a single deck is enough
Six jobs for four feet square.
Under a step-and-repeat
A low platform lifts a backdrop clear of the floor so the bottom of the print is not in every photograph. Short legs, no step, nobody has to climb anything.
A camera riser
At the back of a room, above the heads in front of it. One deck is 4 ft square and rated to 3,400 lb — send the total weight going up and we will confirm it.
A solo performer or a speaker
A flat room with no sightlines and somebody who has to be seen in it. Four feet square is enough to stand, turn and hold a lectern without being enough to feel like a stage.
A product or vehicle plinth
Anything that should be looked at rather than walked past. Four feet square is the constraint worth checking first — tell us the footprint and the weight and we will confirm the deck against both.
A landing at the foot of a stage
An intermediate step where a full-height platform would be a jump. Same module, lower legs, connected to the build it serves.
A stage you will need again
These are the decks every larger build in this catalogue is made of. Two make 4 × 8, four make 8 × 8 and any combination makes an L-shape or a runway, so an order now does not limit the next one.
Twice the platform
When one deck stops being enough.
A lectern with a screen edge beside it, a band riser, anything somebody has to walk across rather than stand still on. Two decks connected side by side are the standard small stage and the height range runs from about 17 to 28 inches on the standard legs.
