Specifications
Six by two and a half feet of working surface.
For dining it takes six, three down each long side, or eight if you use the ends. For everything else — and everything else is most of it — it is a commercial-grade top that takes a hot chafing dish, a spilled drink and a box of AV gear in the same afternoon and wipes clean.

Workshop benches
Craft sessions, poster making, hands-on demos. The top takes glue, paint and water without being covered first, which is not true of a venue’s own furniture.
Back-of-house prep
Behind drape, out of the room, carrying whatever the caterer or the AV crew needs off the floor. Nothing here has to look like anything, which is why the length that moves easily is the one that goes back of house.
The other length
When the run matters more than the doorway.
The 8 ft runs longer on a weatherproof HDPE top that goes outdoors. The trade is honest: at 96.5 inches open it does not turn a tight corner. Walk the load-in route and the choice makes itself.
