Specifications
Four foot pockets, one for each leg of the base.
It goes over the top and down. The four reinforced pockets at the hem pull over the feet of the table base, which is what draws the fabric in at the middle and holds the shape rather than letting it hang like a sheet. The pockets are double-layer Oxford, which is the part that takes the strain every time one is fitted.

Two colours
Black or white, floor length in both.
Black is the standing-reception default and it holds up through an evening of glasses being set down on it. White reads lighter and is what gets ordered when the cocktail tables are part of the decor rather than somewhere to put a drink.

A standing reception
Twenty tables in a room and nobody sitting down. Uncovered, the floor reads as a forest of black poles; covered, it reads as a set of tables, which is the entire visual difference.
A drinks hour before dinner
An hour in a holding space, then everybody moves through. Nothing is far from anybody in that hour, so these tables are seen from a foot away and from nowhere else all night.
Around a bar
Somewhere to put a glass down within a few steps of where it was handed over, at the same height. The cover matters here because these are the tables people lean on all night.
A trade show booth
One or two tables at the front of the stand for conversations that happen standing up. Black against a dark booth build, white if the graphics behind are light.
Outdoors on a patio or a lawn
The foot pockets hold the fabric to the base rather than resting over it, so there is nothing loose for the wind to lift off the table and carry.
A photograph you will actually use
Cocktail tables end up in the background of nearly every wide shot of a reception. Covering them is what stops the folding hardware being in all of them.

This is sized to our own 32-inch bar-height table, which is the measurement that decides whether a stretch cover sits or sags. Both go on the one request if the tables are coming from us too.
